What was your first job? How did you get it or learn about it?

I was a crew member at Round Table Pizza, and a camp counselor for children with disabilities! I got both jobs one summer in high school, and considered myself lucky that I was able to align the two schedules. It ended up being a really fun summer.

What is your favorite local business and why?

Vancouver has a lot of fun local businesses, especially at the Vancouver Farmer’s Market. I am there all the time grabbing fresh veggies from the variety of produce booths and looking at all the other fun things. Sometimes on my way home I’ll also stop at Treat, a nearby specialty ice cream shop, for a pint to go (I highly recommend their seasonal peach cobbler flavor, or ooey gooey butter cake!).

What do you like to do for fun or what hobbies do you have?

I am someone who likes to keep busy—I regularly enjoy yoga classes, working out, reading, playing games, being with friends, and spending time outside with my dogs at local dog parks.
